Dennis Rodman uses North Korean summit to try to make Potcoin Great Again

In a small way you could certainly give former Detroit Piston and Chicago Bull player Dennis Rodman some credit for the historic summit that took place in Singapore earlier today, and as such Rodman made sure to participate on the outskirts of President Trump's meeting with Kim Jung-Un.  And when you are fortunate enough to get a large portion of the world's eyes upon you during an event like this, it would be stupid not to find a way to capture those viewers in a marketing opportunity.

So what exactly did Dennis Rodman promote during his media hopping tour?  None other than the cryptocurrency Potcoin.

A marijuana-focussed cryptocurrency called potcoin has been one of the unlikely winners of the historic summit between Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong-un, having jumped in price by 25 per cent  since the start of the summit.
The price jump can be attributed to a public endorsement from former NBA star Dennis Rodman, who was pictured arriving in Singapore wearing a potcoin t-shirt on Monday.
The cryptocurrency achieved the marketing coup by paying for Rodman's trip to the city state, having previously sponsored his 2017 trip to North Korea. – UK Independent
